In addition to using the Furled Finger for multiplayer, you can also use your small effigy to put down your summoning sign at the nearest Effigy of Martyr. How Effigies Of Martyr Summoning Pools Work Use the Finger Severer to send either yourself or someone you have summoned back home. If you want to go home or send someone home on your own accord however, you can do that through the multiplayer menu. However, if the summoned player dies they are also sent back to their world, and likewise if the summoner dies the summoned is also sent home. Upon defeating the boss, the summoned player will be sent home with a reward for helping the summoner. In Elden Ring, summoned players and their summoner can only play together in one area, typically until that area’s boss is defeated.

How To Change Your Multiplayer Password In Elden Ring How To Exit Multiplayer And Unsummon This restricts your summoning pool to only people with the same password. If you are playing with friends however, hit the settings option (Y on xbox controllers) and make sure everyone types in the same password. If you want to be summonable by any player, leave your multiplayer password blank. Take a look at the photo below, and notice the menu on the left. Take a look out from The First Step where the grace is guiding you and you’ll see a golden knight mounted on a large horse, and in the background a crumbling ruin of a church. However, in order to be summoned by a player/friend, they’ll need to do some extra work. Other areas will be walled off by a wall of fog, so make sure you’re being summoned to the right area. You can only place one at a time, and the area you place your summon sign is where you will be when summoned. Simply use the Tarnished Furled Finger and you’ll place your sign. Summon signs appear in other player’s worlds exactly where you placed it in yours, and allows them to summon you for multiplayer cooperation.
This item allows you to place down a summon sign. During the tutorial Stranded Graveyard area you’ll gain the Tarnished Furled Finger. Once you exit the tutorial area, you’ll be at “The First Step” Lost Grace.
